This is a simple template for Jekyll that is made to look like a wiki, layout inspired by Mediawiki’s Vector skin and Fandom’s desktop skin

Why use Jekyll for Wiki?!

Jekyll is normally for blogs, but because it’s a static site generator that can have custom layouts, it’s completely possible to make styles like this.

Unlike dynamic wikis, using an SSG for a wiki lowers resource usage.

Features

On the left side, you have the navigation, but you can also add custom cards (like the example.org embed and the clone repository ad) globally or in page (Inspired by fandom), cleanly sorted on the left side of the screen (Inspired by Vector)

If you’re using a small screen like a mobile device, you’ll see that instead of the boxes being on the left side of the screen, they are actually hidden in a menu button on a top bar, Mobile friendliness is important!

Create infoboxes and thumbnail images like it’s a regular wiki.
